The plant was developed by Daesung Energy

It has a volumetric air receiver reaching temperatures of up to 1,000ºC

Other participants in the project: DIC, NanoCMS, MaxTECH, KIER, SNUT, Inha Univ., Chungju Univ.

Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) designed the heliostats, the receiver and the heat storage system.
